The definition of a phobia is an extreme or irrational feeling of fear.in some cases it can be life-threatening. #mostCommon#phobia#world The fear can be because of both real and imaginary conditions which can make an individual uncomfortable. Today we will be looking at some common types of phobias. Those Phobias which people experience the most:

#Fear of #Mirror: #Spectrophobia (from Latin: spectrum, n. special, an appearance, form, image of a thing; an apparition, specter) or catoptrophobia (from Greek κάτοπτρον kátoptron, “mirror”) is a kind of specific phobia involving a morbid fear of mirrors, sometimes related to the fear of ghosts or the undead. This phobia is distinct from eisoptrophobia, which is the fear of one’s own reflection. Fear of failure: also called “atychiphobia”) is when we allow that fear to stop us from doing the things that can move us forward to achieve our goals. Fear of failure can be linked to many causes. For instance, having critical or unsupportive parents is a cause for some people. Fear of not having a mobile phone: #Nomophobia is a proposed name for the phobia of being out of cell phone contact. However, it is arguable that the word “phobia” is misused and that in the majority of cases it is another form of #anxiety#disorder.

The next one is a social anxiety disorder. This involves interactions of other people around.according to health research the social anxiety disorder is the third largest mental health care problem in the world.social anxiety can start occurring during puberty and often last till lifetime. The most common type of #social anxiety is the fear of speaking in public. many CEOs have gone through this phobia so indeed this can be cured. The next one is #agoraphobia where different places and people can affect our mental health, for example, public transportation or standing in a crowd where we witness different places and people this can lead to non-comfort in an individual. next comes mysophobia. this phobia makes people more concerned about cleanliness and hygiene.it is basically an excessive fear of dirt and germs.this phobia can also relate to a #mental#condition named OCD which is the obsessive-compulsive disorder. Starting with #Arachnophobia. That is Fear of #spiders. The sight of a spider can make them feel restless. Some even get affected due to watching a picture of a spider. The next is. #Aerophobia .which is basically feared of flying. Its basics #symptoms are disorientation and rapid #heartbeat.

The next comes #cynophobia which comes from personal experience in the past take an example of a dog biting you during early childhood. this makes an individual restless and stays away from dogs throughout his life. #Astraphobia .it is a fear of #thunder and #lightning. Symptoms include trembling. #Crying#Sweating. The sudden feeling of using the bathroom. People with this phobia also tend to become more pre-occupied with the weather. #Trypanophobia is another unique phobia of pain due to #syringes and #injections but studies have concluded that #painless syringes and medicines are a work in progress. The symptoms of this phobia are basically extreme pain and elevated heart rate. Acrophobia is the fear of heights. And it impacts people who witness tall bridges and buildings.this fear can be due to some personal experiences in the past. And it triggers them every time they see a huge structure or if they are standing over a tall building and witness something at depth.

Driving Phobia.this phobia occurs during difficult driving situations especially during driving on steep mountain roads. Escalaphobia.this phobia refers to the fear of escalators where an individual generally panics to step on the escalator present in the malls and other places in the fear of falling from it. Aquaphobia is basically fear of water where an individual goes through trauma after watching the water in the river, sea or even bathtub if the level of water is more then what the individual Tunnel phobia: Fear of tunnels which resemble darkness or negativity infant it is safer to drive in tunnels but research concludes that 1.4% of people all over the world to witness this phobia. Phobias are highly treatable, and people who have them are nearly always aware of their disorder. This helps the diagnosis a great deal. Most phobias can be cured with appropriate treatment.
